The 2018 U.S. midterm elections introduced a shift across the nation.

From the bank to the ballot, communities of color are voting with their money in mind and increasing their share of voice, and yet both buying power and voting power still remain a challenging trend for decision makers to merge.

My Village Votes explored political attitudes amongst those communities after the 2018 U.S. midterm elections and to what degree those attitudes influenced their consumer patterns.
This survey was conducted in partnership with The Equity Alliance, a Tennessee-based 501(c)3 nonpartisan, non-profit organization that seeks to equip citizens with tools and strategies to engage in the civic process and empower them to take action on issues affecting their daily lives.
